THE ACADEMIC COMMITTEE

INSPIRING COLLABORATION, INNOVATION, & CONTINUOUS LEARNING
View "About" Video Here

About

The Academic Committee is composed of teachers, principals, and directors representing all parts of Five Keys Schools and Programs from both northern and southern regions.

mission

The committee exists to translate Five Keys’ educational philosophy, goals, and objectives into action terms that directly benefit our students and teachers and increase the overall effectiveness of our High School and CTE programs. Through collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, we seek to unify the Five Keys community across sites, programs, and regions.

Academic Vision

Students will develop transferable skills through curriculum and instruction that take learning off the page, out of the classroom, and into the 21st century workplace and learning environments.  They will be leaders, advocates, and competitors, making positive contributions within their communities, families, and homes.

The B.I.T.E.

The B.I.T.E. is the Academic Committee's monthly publication -- a Burst of Inspiration for Teachers and Educators of our school. Designed to be a central place where our hungry but time-starved educators can receive the latest updates in curriculum, instruction, technology, assessment, professional development, and more,  this publication also serves to highlight and increase the sharing of all the extraordinary work taking place within our programs. We hope you will enjoy these monthly "bites" of learning!
